Winner of Folk Music Ontario's 2020 "Setting The Stage Award"
March 6-9, 2026
Singing into Aliveness
Singing in a circle brings us into our aliveness. This is the root of what we will explore together. From digging into lyric meaning and delivery, to tonal and dynamic exploration, to honing harmonies - these sessions aim to connect us to each other, to the earth, and to ourselves.
Practically, this will involve a combination of directed & improvised warm-ins, learning approaches to harmony, call-and-response and rounds, and co-creating parts for a selection of songs.
No experience necessary - just arrive with a willingness to explore!
