Coco will teach us some of her songs, lead some campfire style jams of cover songs, and facilitate us playfully dipping our toes into improvisation and songwriting moments… and we’ll jam on everything!
We’ll spend the weekend exploring harmony singing, call and response singing, on-the-fly arrangement ideas, vocal improvisation... tuning up our ears, tapping into our creative sides and building up our confidence. But mainly, let’s have fun! We can laugh and smile as we follow the moment and our curiosity to see where freestyle music making and inspiration can take us.
Bio - Coco Love Alcorn
Joining us for the first time this year is Coco Love Alcorn. The first thing you notice about her, is the voice: it's a rich, dynamic, supremely soulful instrument – hailed by the press as extraordinary, beautiful, and stunning – that has a way of touching your heart and making you care. As a performer, Alcorn is always in the moment, joyful, and genuine. She combines diverse musical influences including jazz, R&B, pop, folk, and Gospel. Her playful and witty character, love of improvising, and willingness to engage fearlessly with the audience has made Alcorn an established presence on the Canadian music scene.
Alcorn’s career has spanned more than 20 years, 12 (9 solo) albums, cross-Canada tours, collaborations, festival appearances, award nominations, and notable success in TV and film licensing.

You may choose to share a cabin with someone you know. Otherwise, you will be randomly assigned to an appropriate male or female cabin. Guests are required to bring their own bedding and towels.
Is for folks that want to stay onsite, and enjoy all the benefits of the "Inclusive" package, but prefer to be in a cabin with one other person. *Semi private is only available to folks who are registering with a partner or friend.
